How do I read my calendar/schedule?

When you receive your welcome package or your first invoice of the new year, you will receive a calendar with certain weeks highlighted or shaded. If you are a weekly trash customer, this calendar will apply only to your recycling schedule.
If your trash and/or recycling pick ups are every 2 or every 4 weeks, your pickups will occur on the marked weeks of the calendar. 
If you do not know which day of the week your pick ups occur on, please call the office at 413-587-4005, OR use the contact us form.

What Time Does My Trash or Recycling Need to Be Out?

Please put trash and / or recycling out by 6:30 AM, or put it out the night before your scheduled garbage pickup. Learn more by calling Alternative Recycling Systems.

What Time Does My Driver Come by My Area?

Our schedules can be affected by many factors, including unexpected road work, weather issues, reorganized routing, etc. It is best to put your trash and / or recycling out by 6:30 AM on the scheduled day of pickup.

How Does a Holiday Change My Collection Schedule?

Generally, customers are only affected by a major holiday. Major holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. To see if your schedule is affected, check our website. We will post a pop up regarding changes. We also post notices on our Facebook Page. 

How Do You Notify Me of Changes in the Collection Schedule?

  • We will publish Holiday changes in a pop up on our website and with a post on our FaceBook page. We will also post a notification if there is a weather related issue. 
  • If there is a limited change due to unforeseen circumstances, we will call or email you.
